James M. Miller
graduated from Cumberland School of Law, Samford University in 1983. Since becoming a licensed Florida attorney in 1984, he has practiced before the Federal Court for the Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, the Military Court of Appeals and all state courts in Florida. Additionally, he is also certified as a circuit civil mediator.

Since 1984, Mr. Miller has been involved in all phases of litigation, from pre-lawsuit matters through writing appeals and making oral arguments before Florida's Fifth District Court of Appeals. He has experience in cases, issues and matters in the areas of personal injury, property damage, professional malpractice, real estate planning, probate and transactional matters. Cases he has defended deal with automobile and trucking liability, premises liability (personal and commercial), homeowner claims, contractual disputes, construction defects, hurricane damage, wind and water claims, roof installation claims, product liability issues, negligent security and professional malpractice (medical, legal and dental). In addition to litigation, he has also practiced in what is typically termed as non-litigation areas of the law; for example, real estate law, probate, estate planning and transactional law.
